            Phil Hershey
CEO and Founder

KTB Founder, Phil has provided emergency life-saving care, including his involvement in more than 5,000 cardiac arrests throughout his 36-year career with the Los Angeles City Fire Department. He currently is still serving as a Captain II/Paramedic when not teaching. Phil has specialty training in confined space rescue, Aircraft FF, and Urbans Search and Rescue. He worked at Fire Station 9 for six years in Los Angeles, which is rated at the Top 5 Busiest Fire Stations in the US and has been # 1 for the past 10 years.         

Cameron Hershey
Instructor

Cameron has been an ACLS, PALS and BLS instructor for more than 12 years at KTB. He is currently a flight nurse in Southern California and has worked as an ICU and ER Nurse since 2016. Cameron worked in NYC during the height of the Covid pandemic in 2020 and has been active in providing nursing education online.
